New Work

A new experimental piece. 61x61cm
I had been watching a You Tube video of Vera Arutyunyan creating an abstract painting using her fingers and, intrigued with her method, thought I would give it a go. My results are quite different from hers. I found the idea of getting my hands covered with paint daunting at first, but once I got into it, the feel of the paint on my fingers, and the effect on the canvas, convinced me it was a great way of expressing myself. I used acrylics however, and that washed off easily with water anyway.
