Deep dish noodlefry

acrylics on canvas

I had a lot of fun doing this one.  Hope you like it.  It's such a zany piece, hence the zany title.

Spindrift and monsoon

New work. Acrylics on canvas, 91 x 61 cm.
This one reminds me of wild weather blowing into the harbour from the sea, hence the name Spindrift and monsoon.

New Abstract

Sustained by light
91x76cm acrylics

This one was done using only my fingers. It's lovely just smoothing the paint on.

New Work

A new experimental piece. 61x61cm
I had been watching a You Tube video of Vera Arutyunyan creating an abstract painting using her fingers and, intrigued with her method, thought I would give it a go. My results are quite different from hers. I found the idea of getting my hands covered with paint daunting at first, but once I got into it, the feel of the paint on my fingers, and the effect on the canvas, convinced me it was a great way of expressing myself. I used acrylics however, and that washed off easily with water anyway.

Bliss after a hectic day.

Excitement bursting forth.
