These are small 25x25cm acrylics on board.
I used pochoir techniques with these.
One is the positive, the other the negative image slightly re-arranged.

Pochoir experiments with Celtic Knots

I have been interested for some time now in both Celtic knots and the art of Pochoir (the French art of stenciling).

So I had a go at combining the two.

It was very time consuming, meticulously cutting out the stencil but I think the effect in the end was quite appealing.
